L.O. Lee slicers could be used in a wide variety of industries, including the hand-tool, carbide, semiconductor, automotive, defense, aerospace - even the food industries.
Built 100% in the United States, K.O. Lee slicers featured the same solid cast-iron construction found in all of K.O. Lee's grinders. All major members of the machine, such as the base, table and saddle ways and column, were made of the finest castings available to provide a lifetime of accuracy.
With advancements in technology continuing to create an ever increasing need for precision control of tolerances and finishes, K.O. Lee rose to this challenge with machine design and quality control that made it possible to guarantee the accuracies of the slicing machines K.O. Lee built.
3 Axis Slicers offered Spindle Speeds of 1725 to 7200 RPM and were controlled by a variable frequency drive to suit the customer's production needs. The 40 gallon paper filter coolant system and a spray hood enclosure provided protection for the work environment. It had programmable Downfeed, Crossfeed, and Table controlled by a NUM AXIUM POWER PC Control.
