Manual Ballway Surface Grinder - 8" x 18" Capacity
The K.O. Lee Manual Ballway Surface Grinder Model LEEWAY was equipped with hardened and ground ways. The system used 39 precision steel balls. These balls were run in an oil bath for long life. Protective saddle-track way extensions retained the oil and kept dust out.
Features also included slip-ring handwheel dials, a removable cartridge-type spindle with a pair of duplex Class 7 bearings, and a 2-HP dynamically balanced motor.
